Certificate II Examination Certificate Programme
The institution offers Certificate II Examination Certificate programme in cosmetology of which was formerly conducted by erstwhile National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations (NABPTEX) and Technical Examination Unit (TEU). These institutions have now been emerged to part of the Commission for TVET (CTVET). Students are well equipped in both the practical and theoretical pedagogies of the programme which prepared them to gain admission to tertiary institutions and world of work.

Our graduates work and intern in a range of jobs in a broad range of fields — beauty consultants, product representatives, or instructors in cosmetology schools. They can pursue roles as hairstylists, makeup artists, estheticians, and nail technicians in salons and spas.

Program Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate an understanding and advanced application of these areas: Introduction to cosmetology, Health, Safety and Environment, Communication in Salon Environment, Client Care and Consultation, Tools and Equipment, Products and Materials, Hair Care, Plaiting and Braiding, Nail care, Basics of Barbering
Be able to use modern cosmetology tools and techniques to deliver exceptional work.
The Programme will also help the learner to prepare him/her for the field of cosmetology and its application.
Who qualifies to study Certificate II Examination certificate programme (admission requirement)
- Any applicant who possesses National Proficiency II certificate
- Any applicant who possesses Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), ready and willing to pursue a career in cosmetology.
- Any applicant with WASCE or tertiary level certificate who wants to divert into cosmetology.
